Green revolution in UK
Happy Kitchen - an inspiration
I really like this example because it shows what green products should really be. It's much more than no pesticides or other nasties.
Happy Kitchen sells cakes in London which answer all the concerns a seriously committed green consumer want to see on his/her products: Organic, Seasonal, Locally made (in London), Healthy (no bad sugars, no dairy, no eggs or soya), Fairly-Traded, Respectful of Climate Change.
Happy Kitchen is not a business but a social enterprise which raises money for social projects and help people to achieve better health.
This 100% plant based and Low GI cake could have been called Anti-aging food. It fits right in with the trend of A.G.E (Anti-Glycation End Product) as it's only sweetened with agave nectar not bad carbs.
Food is always a very inspiring market to look at.
